Remote Quality Assurance Engineer

Requirements

• Experience in quality assurance and testing
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing, with experience in tools like Cypress, REST Assured, or similar
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to technical initiatives and influence decision-making

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure their resolution
• Support the growth and development of other QA team members
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is built into the product from the ground up
• Promote best practices in testing, including code quality, performance testing, and security testing
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving testing processes, tools, and overall quality assurance
• Keep up to date with emerging testing technologies and industry trends, advocating for their adoption where appropriate
