Join Ahrefs as the Regional Head of Marketing for the French market, a brand new role leading marketing efforts in this strategic region. Reporting to the Head of International Marketing, you will be a key member of the global marketing team. This hands-on position requires developing and executing marketing strategies, managing content creation and localization, and leading marketing activities including events and partnerships. You will also analyze market trends, mentor a small team, and report on market performance. This role is remote.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the technology or SaaS industry
  • Good knowledge in using Ahrefs product and understanding of its application in the French market
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in the French market
  • Excellent content creation and digital marketing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality assets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the driving force behind Ahrefs' marketing efforts in the French market, taking a hands-on approach to all aspects of the marketing mix
  • Develop and execute common sense marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition
  • Directly manage the creation and localisation of content, including blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, and other digital assets
  • Manage all French related marketing activities including content creation, events, partnerships, and public relations
  • Lead efforts in educating the French market in SEO best practices, placing Ahrefs front and center
  • Organise and participate in key marketing events, such as networking events, conferences, and customer meetups, to build relationships and generate leads
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities and continuously optimize marketing initiatives
  • Build out and manage a small, agile marketing team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure efficient and effective execution
  • Report on market performance to senior leadership
