Requirements

  • 5+ years experience managing technical or contracting relationships with government entities, particularly within technology, AI, or engineering environments
  • Prior experience with the government acquisition process or overseeing the implementation of government contracts
  • Strong understanding of government security protocols, regulations, and technical compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in high-stakes, regulated environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in handling complex, sensitive issues in a diplomatic and effective manner
  • Hold Active U.S. Security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for government customers, building trust, transparency, and aligning objectives to ensure mutual success
  • Coordinate with engineering, security, and policy teams to design, implement, and oversee custom projects that adhere to agency security standards
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring seamless onboarding, compliance, and alignment with government needs
  • Represent OpenAI in engagements with government stakeholders, develop policy recommendations, and support OpenAI leadership at key events and convenings
