Join Lokalise as an Accounting Manager and oversee crucial accounting functions for three entities (USA, UK, Latvia). Requirements
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in full close-cycle accounting; preferably at a rapidly scaling tech SaaS business, with a minimum of 2 years in leadership roles
- Possesses professional certifications such as CPA, CGMA, ACCA, ACAF, or similar
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices and U.S. GAAP, and regulatory requirements
- Advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of accounting software, e.g. Rillet, Netsuite, SAP or similar
- Proven track record of leading major financial projects, such as system implementations or process automation
- Familiarity with SaaS-specific metrics (e.g., MRR, ARR, CAC, churn, etc.)
- A demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop staff
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with sales, operations, product, and executive teams
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute the month-end close process for three entities (USA, UK, Latvia), preparing timely and accurate consolidated and standalone financial statements
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including US GAAP standards (ASC 340-40, ASC 606, ASC 718 and others)
- Coordinate audit activities and liaise with external auditors and advisors to ensure successful completion and compliance
- Evaluate, implement, and maintain financial systems and software to enhance reporting and operational efficiency
- Mentor and develop a small team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning
- Complete ad-hoc projects
