Remote Associate, Travel & Expense

Summary

Join the Accounting team at Elastic as an Associate for the Travel and Expense team, based in India, to professionalize global Procure to Pay processes.

Requirements

• An eye for detail when it comes to accuracy within our systems
• Ability to plan and organize to ensure we're supporting our employees on reimbursement process
• Prior experience working in NetSuite and SAP Concur is a plus
• 2 to 4 years of experience, preferably with global public companies
• Experience with basic excel features like pivot, VLOOKUP etc
• Excellent English communication both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Handle global employee expense claims review and approval along with email queries
• Assist in day-to-day activities relating to Travel & Expense Process and Vendor data management
• Audit expense reports daily to ensure compliance with Global T&E policy
• Analysis and reporting of process metrics
• Handling email queue and respond in 24 business hours
• Timely clearing of expense reports (24-48 Business Hours) – exceptions flagged for audit
• Communicate with users on issues and assist with reconciliation
• Involve employee’s manager, finance, and/or HR when appropriate
• Drive continuous improvement by supporting management initiatives, system enhancements, new system implementations, and developing and documenting new processes
