Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance
  • Strong preference for experience in commercial auto and/or transportation
  • 5+ years of field sales and/or program marketing experience
  • Clear track record of over-achieving targets
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Bias-to-action - youโ€™re not afraid to get your hands dirty and stretch yourself
  • Owner mentality - take accountability for your actions and results
  • Successfully able to work in high-growth and ambiguous start-up environments
  • Strong collaborator with team members based across the country and the world

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your existing relationships with transportation focused insurance agents and brokers and bring them into Nirvana
  • Identify, prospect and build relationships with agents, brokers and key decision makers at transportation companies
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve production goals and accelerate Nirvanaโ€™s growth
  • Help agents and insureds understand the value of our unique safety tools
  • Refine Nirvanaโ€™s messaging and positioning in the market
  • Collaborate with product and underwriting to drive profitable growth
  • Represent Nirvana at transportation conferences, associations, seminars, broker and client meetings
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to iterate on our product offering(s)
  • Travel as necessary to meet the responsibilities outlined above
