Summary

Join Grow Therapy as a Client Billing Support Specialist and be at the forefront of our mission to make high-quality mental healthcare accessible and affordable. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, assist and educate customers on our platform, and identify opportunities for continued customer growth. This remote position offers a Monday-Friday, 12 pm-9 pm EST work shift. You will serve as a passionate advocate for both clients and therapists, ensuring they feel heard and supported. The role requires experience with insurance across multiple payers, knowledge of medical terminology, and experience with claim verification systems. Requirements

  • Have one year of experience with insurance across multiple commercial & government payers
  • Have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10/ CPT codes preferable in mental health
  • Have experience working within Claim MD or Availty verifying benefits, reading EOB’s, and are able to comprehensively explain benefits to patients
  • Have experience working within various payer portals
  • Be self-motivated, eager to learn, and be comfortable with ambiguity / asynchronous communication
  • Love problem solving; be naturally curious, especially about health tech
  • Have a work ethic defined by kindness and empathy, prioritizing Customer Experience over everything else
  • Be successful working independently and remotely, and adapt well to changing priorities and customer needs
  • Be comfortable meeting quantitative metrics, including the number of conversations you work on per day
  • Thrive working at a fast-paced startup, and be excited about contributing to our startup’s growth

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues Clients and Therapists raise via Phone
  • Dig deep into problems in order to help identify root causes and work with our Product teams to improve the platform overall
  • Assist and educate customers on the Grow Therapy platform, providing great customer service to our Clients and Therapists
  • Serve as the customer's go-to resource and passionate advocate, ensuring both Clients and Therapists feel heard and supported throughout their journey with Grow Therapy

Preferred Qualifications

Have a track record of at least one year of successful customer-facing professional experience, and / or any knowledge around how Insurances and Coverage works in the US Healthcare industry
