Responsibilities

  • Represent BELAY in a positive and professional manner

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
  • Oversee SOP adherence, quality assurance, and process accountability
  • Utilize data analytics for informed decision-making and performance tracking
  • Supervise operations in Dallas and the Carolinas, including the Dallas office
  • Guide the Dallas team in transitioning from on-site to remote work
  • Align monthly budgets to meet financial goals and ensure overall company health
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic planning and financial analysis, maintaining sales contract standards and regulatory compliance
  • Lead goal setting and project management, collaborating with leadership
  • Develop key relationships to enhance BELAY’s brand presence in the market
  • Utilize analytical skills for effective strategy implementation and industry forecasting
  • Conduct coaching sessions for team development, balancing employee care with performance outcomes
  • Enhance client experience through innovative practices and cultivate long-term relationships
  • Align strategic goals with organizational objectives and collaborate across departments

Job Purpose

The Director of Accounting Services will oversee vision, strategy, and growth across our Carolina and Dallas markets, offices, and teams. They guide expansion efforts and ensure cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency while prioritizing organizational well-being. This role requires financial and accounting experience and includes managing day-to-day operations, team growth, client work, and quality assurance.

Duties and responsibilities

Represent BELAY in a positive and professional manner

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate a blend of financial acumen, strategic leadership, and a proven track record of driving organizational success. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Financial or Accounting experience is required.
  • Must be a driven self-starter, a positive thinker, loyal, and trustworthy.
  • 5+ years of financial leadership experience.
  • Attributes of flexibility, creativity, self-discipline, strong organizational skills, and action orientation are essential for this role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A high degree of autonomy with the capability of working remotely.

Working conditions

BELAY, as a virtual company, offers you the ability to work from home full-time. As such, a dedicated and secure workspace, free of distractions, is required. Our standard business hours are Monday-Friday. As a key member of the leadership team, this position initially requires 50% domestic travel each month (quarterly if residing in Dallas), which will transition to 25% over time.
