Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the overall IT and business applications strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals, while providing leadership and direction to the IT and applications teams to support business objectives
  • Oversee the lifecycle of critical business applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.), from selection and deployment to support and ongoing improvement, while driving process enhancements through automation and optimized system workflows
  • Ensure robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure that supports the needs of a global workforce
  • Oversee IT operations, including network management, server administration, cloud services, and cybersecurity protocols, while monitoring and enhancing IT service levels to ensure uptime, security, and data integrity across all business systems
  • Develop and implement scalable IT and business application processes that meet compliance standards and support audit readiness, ensuring infrastructure is prepared for potential IPO requirements
  • Manage large-scale IT projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and integrations, while developing and overseeing the IT and business applications budget to ensure timely delivery, resource optimization, and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration and knowledge-sharing between IT and business teams to maximize impact
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions, while acting as a key liaison with senior leadership to communicate technology strategies, roadmaps, and performance metrics

Director of Business Applications and IT

Position Summary

The Director of Business Applications and IT is responsible for the strategic leadership, development, and management of business applications and IT infrastructure to support the organization’s business goals. This role focuses on driving operational efficiency, optimizing technology use, and ensuring alignment with business strategies. The Director will lead a high-performing team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions that enable business growth.

What You Will Do

Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead and execute the overall IT and business applications strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals, while providing leadership and direction to the IT and applications teams to support business objectives.

Business Applications Management:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong project management and change management skills, especially in a fast-paced, pre-IPO environment

  • Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management

  • Familiarity with emerging technology deployment across a highly global workplace
