Remote Director of Technology Partners

ABOUT THE ROLE

Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a motivated Director of Technology Partners to support our team. We are a fast-growing entrepreneurial team working at the convergence of technology and national security. The work will be dynamic and wide-ranging  with supporting the deployment and scale of our Game Warden platform.

As the Director of Technology Partners, you will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and managing key technology partnerships that enhance Second Front’s market offerings, particularly around our flagship product, Game Warden. You will drive collaboration with cloud service providers, systems integrators, and other technology partners to create new revenue streams, expand our market reach, and support the secure delivery of mission-critical software to our federal customers.

Note: This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Create and execute proactive engagement with partners and leverage commercial dual-use technologies to create a force multiplier for Second Front Systems.
• Identify and develop strategic technology partnerships that bring cutting-edge external innovations into Second Front Systems. These partnerships will aim to accelerate R&D efforts, generate new opportunities, and create differentiated market positions.
• Conduct gap analyses across business areas and functions to identify technology, capability, and process shortfalls. Prioritize these gaps and lead initiatives to align resources, fill the gaps, and drive successful outcomes.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, and Business Development, to ensure alignment between partner strategies and company goals, maximizing the impact of technology partnerships on Second Front Systems’ overall business strategy.
• Collaborate with solutions architects and sales engineers to provide technical guidance and enablement support to partners, ensuring they are equipped to deliver value to customers.
• Own solutions and partnerships that help accelerate customer adoption of 2F, like our Chainguard partnership and other services partners.

Skills You’ll Bring to Our Team

• Proven experience in building and managing strategic technology partnerships, preferably in the defense, SaaS, or high-tech industries.
• Strong understanding of commercial dual-use technologies and their applications in government and defense sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, technology scouting, and gap analysis.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives across multiple business areas.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working with senior leadership, partners, and external stakeholders.
• Experience in managing the lifecycle of complex technology programs, from initiation through execution and scaling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of emerging technologies in cloud computing, edge computing, cybersecurity, and AI/ML, and their potential applications in defense environments.
• Have a strong interest in matters of national security

$200,000 - $220,000 a year

The base compensation for this role ranges from $200,000-$230,000.
