Requirements

  • B.S. (M.S. desirable) in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering
  • 10 to 20+ years of professional experience with an environmental consulting firm
  • Strong experience managing projects, including client service, business development/proposals, and management of financial, scope, schedule, and risk aspects
  • Experience with the New Jersey Administrative Code and NJDEP CSRR guidance is required
  • LSRP licensure or desire and ability to obtain within one year preferred
  • Other professional licensure (PMP, PP, PE, PG) in New Jersey and/or other states is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Use established relationships with clients and regulatory agencies to procure and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and delivery
  • Lead investigation and remediation efforts associated with site cleanup, design projects, and other environmental remediation-based projects
  • Manage client relationships, interact with regulators, coordinate the work of engineers and scientists, coach and mentor junior staff, and develop and monitor project performance

What You Will Be Doing at Woodard & Curran:

In this role, you will use established relationships with clients and regulatory agencies to procure and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and delivery. You will lead investigation and remediation efforts associated with site cleanup, design projects, and other environmental remediation-based projects. In addition, you will be responsible for client management, interaction with regulators, coordinating the work of engineers and scientists, coaching and mentoring junior staff, and developing and monitoring project performance. You will be supported by our National Remediation Practice and our Project Management Office.

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ (preferred) or East Windsor, NJ

Office Preference: Onsite or Hybrid – If Hybrid, a minimum of 3 days in the office is expected.

Travel: Up to 10%; travel to project sites is required

What You Will Need To Succeed:

  • B.S. (M.S. desirable) in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
  • 10 to 20+ years of professional experience with an environmental consulting firm.
  • Strong experience managing projects, including client service, business development/proposals, and management of financial, scope, schedule, and risk aspects
  • Experience with the New Jersey Administrative Code and NJDEP CSRR guidance is required.  LSRP licensure or desire and ability to obtain within one year preferred
  • Other professional licensure (PMP, PP, PE, PG) in New Jersey and/or other states is desirable.
  • Solid technical expertise in remediation feasibility evaluations and cost estimating, environmental permitting, implementation of field investigations, analysis, documentation, and reporting of various environmental projects; the development of remedial action plans and remedial designs; and construction and implementation of remedial alternatives.
  • Active participation and leadership within LSRPA des.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

$125,000 - $150,000 a year

This role has the option for remote work, and the anticipated pay range is flexible, depending on factors such as the employee’s primary work location, skills, experience, and education. The following examples illustrate how the pay range for the same role can vary based on different locations.

Cherry Hill, NJ: $125,000 - $135,000

East Winsor, NY: $135,000- $150,000

This position’s anticipated pay range is provided above; the final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will depend on experience level, and a percentage-based geographic differential will be considered based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials recognize and reflect the cost of labor differences between geographic markets.
