Years of Experience:

15-20 years in finance, with at least 6-7 years in senior leadership roles (Director, VP, or Head of Finance) within fast-growing e-commerce businesses dealing with physical goods.

Now, as we prepare for our next significant growth phase, we are seeking an innovative and strategic Head of finance to drive our financial vision and establish a robust financial framework that supports our ambitious expansion.

To succeed in this pivotal role, you must possess exceptional strategic financial management skills and a deep understanding of e-commerce financial operations, inventory management, and risk compliance in a rapidly scaling environment. This position is crucial in transforming the company’s financial operations, providing clarity on cash flow, and implementing systems for improved forecasting and data-driven decision-making. The Head of Finance will collaborate closely with all departments, particularly Operations, to optimize supply chain costs and support overall business initiatives.

💼 Who you are:

• Minimum of 6 years in a Director or CFO role within e-commerce, particularly with physical goods, with experience in large items (e.g., furniture) preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. financial regulations, GAAP, and tax laws. Capable of cooperating US based financial experts.
• Demonstrated ability to support companies scaling from $20 million to $100 million in revenue.
• Proficient in selecting and implementing advanced financial systems (e.g., ERP systems, forecasting tools) to enhance visibility, efficiency, and scalability.
• Strong background in data analysis, capable of building real-time financial dashboards and utilizing macros or databases for improved financial reporting.
• Ability to implement robust risk prevention mechanisms to protect the company’s financial health.
• Hands-on experience transitioning from dropshipping to an inventory-based model and modeling inventory forecasting and management scenarios.
• Background in both finance and operations is a significant advantage.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA with a focus on Finance, Innovation, or Entrepreneurship is a plus.

• Lead financial transformation initiatives, managing cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions on time.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial operations in alignment with growth objectives.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative environment across departments.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders, facilitating cooperation across teams.
