Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years in a Director or CFO role within e-commerce, particularly with physical goods, with experience in large items (e.g., furniture) preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. financial regulations, GAAP, and tax laws
• Demonstrated ability to support companies scaling from $20 million to $100 million in revenue
• Proficient in selecting and implementing advanced financial systems (e.g., ERP systems, forecasting tools) to enhance visibility, efficiency, and scalability
• Strong background in data analysis, capable of building real-time financial dashboards and utilizing macros or databases for improved financial reporting
• Ability to implement robust risk prevention mechanisms to protect the company's financial health
• Hands-on experience transitioning from dropshipping to an inventory-based model and modeling inventory forecasting and management scenarios
• Background in both finance and operations is a significant advantage
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA with a focus on Finance, Innovation, or Entrepreneurship is a plus
