Requirements
- Experience & Education: A recent graduate with a degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management, or a graduate in any field with 1-3 years of relevant HR experience
- Attention to Detail & Confidentiality: You possess strong organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring accurate paperwork management while maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills that allow you to build rapport with new hires and colleagues, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Responsibilities
- Onboarding Coordination: Lead a seamless onboarding experience by managing background checks, processing new hire paperwork, and coordinating onboarding sessions with department leaders
- HR Help Desk Support: Serve as the friendly first point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, leave, and other HR topics, providing timely and helpful responses
- Payroll Support: Assist with our multifaceted payroll system, ADP, by serving as the primary backup for payroll processing
- Culture Event Coordination: Celebrate our employees by tracking birthdays, anniversaries, and significant milestones, and coordinating thoughtful gifts for these occasions. Youβll also enjoy helping to organize memorable social events
- Personality Assessment Administration: Schedule assessments using an intuitive tool, advocate for its use among all employees, and share workshop insights to help managers enhance teamwork and strengthen working relationships
- HR Generalist Duties: Engage in a diverse range of HR generalist tasks, such as maintaining employee records in our HRIS, administering benefits, supporting the annual review process, and implementing policies to ensure smooth operations
- Compliance Assurance: Stay informed on HR and payroll regulations affecting our remote workforce across 20+ states, proactively sharing information and updating policies in the ADP portal to maintain compliance
- Administrative Support: Occasionally embrace additional responsibilities by assisting with general office administrative tasks, including but not limited to scheduling management meetings and supporting mailings, as needed
