Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field
• Minimum of five years of experience as a software developer, with demonstrable experience in leading development teams
• In-depth knowledge of Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring, Postgres, and cloud engineering (Azure/AWS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication skills, both for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead the development team in planning, designing, developing, and maintaining software products focused on the government
• Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate customer requirements into robust technical solutions
• Ensure a scalable and robust architecture, with a specific focus on Alfresco (enterprise content management)
• Mentor and coach junior developers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
• Implement the latest technologies and best practices with a focus on Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring, ActiveMQ, Apache Solr, ElasticSearch, and cloud engineering (Azure/AWS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Alfresco, FileNet, or OpenText is a strong asset
• Experience within the government domain, specifically with process automation or archiving, is an asset
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
