Summary
Join a passionate team of developers as a Lead Developer to deliver high-quality software solutions for the government sector. You will technically lead the development team, making key technical decisions and actively contributing to solution development. Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field
- Minimum of five years of experience as a software developer, with demonstrable experience in leading development teams
- In-depth knowledge of Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring, Postgres, and cloud engineering (Azure/AWS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical challenges
- Excellent communication skills, both for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead the development team in planning, designing, developing, and maintaining software products focused on the government
- Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate customer requirements into robust technical solutions
- Ensure a scalable and robust architecture, with a specific focus on Alfresco (enterprise content management)
- Mentor and coach junior developers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Implement the latest technologies and best practices with a focus on Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring, ActiveMQ, Apache Solr, ElasticSearch, and cloud engineering (Azure/AWS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Alfresco, FileNet, or OpenText is a strong asset
- Experience within the government domain, specifically with process automation or archiving, is an asset
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
