Requirements
- A self-starter who will take the initiative without constant direction, results-oriented, collaborative, have a sense of humour and strong EQ
- At least 8-12 years of experience with HR processes and systems, preferably utilizing SaaS HR technology in a people-related space working with tech teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Ability to work cross-functionally and balance collaboration and communication with multiple stakeholders across various departments and functions in a fast paced environment
- Expertise in a variety of HR policies, practices, and procedures
- Ability to be both strategic and tactical in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Prefer experience with the tech stack of a start-up, various SasS operating systems (GSuite, Asana, Slack, Confluence, Rippling, Lattice and Carta)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office and G-Suite
- The ability to handle and maintain a high level of confidentiality and common sense regarding sensitive employee information
- Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills, strong at story telling through report writing and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Work with the People team to deliver an empathic and customer service-focused experience for everyone at Deputy
- Provides support to employee questions and inquiries, delivering high-level customer service and considers how we innovate and advance our People Operations backbone
- Oversee People operations processes, including onboarding, offboarding, compensation cycles, benefits administration, 401K, visa management and compliance with local labor laws
- Develop, implement, and lead People projects and initiatives, such as system implementations, process improvements, and policy changes
- Collaborate with People Partners on various People programs and initiatives such as manager training and performance management, global internal mobility, and related change management strategies
- Act as subject matter expert while collaborating with stakeholders and functional peer groups, interpreting and explaining subject matter information
- Gain the cooperation and buy-in of others by conducting presentations of subject matter information for specific People projects or programs
- Support and manage the Rippling HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with data privacy regulations
- Identifies, raises and applies continuous improvements to services and HR systems
- Helps communicate system/process changes to our employees, helps with training to end-users, and responds to questions and inquiries in a timely manner
- Administer employee data changes, including managing and maintaining employee files and master data
- Conducts regular audits of employee data to ensure systems security, quality, and data accuracy are monitored and adhere to proper processes and controls
- Ensures that employee and organizational data integrity is maintained during administration processing, following data management processes and procedures
- Runs and analyzes custom reports for end-users to ensure we are maximizing efficiencies and data integrity
- Performs other HR operational tasks such as: data entry, employment verification requests, coordination with payroll ensuring data integrity for employees
- Own HR compliance for the AMER region, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations
- Creates and manages HR compliance education in KnowBe, ensuring organizational adherence
- Responsible for completing US compliance reports such as EE01 reporting
- Reporting and preparing for US benefits including management of open enrollment and management of government logins and employee claims
