Requirements

  • LLM in Law and Economics, or related fields with knowledge / specialization on blockchain and cryptocurrency
  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Legal Operations Assistant is preferred
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Georgian
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with legal operations and project management methodologies is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Managing legal documents: managing and organizing legal documents and files, ensuring they are properly filed and accessible
  • Scheduling meetings: arranges meetings and conferences, both in-person and virtual, with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals
  • Billing and invoicing: assists in preparing billing and invoicing statements, tracking expenses and payments, and ensuring that billing guidelines are followed
  • Coordinating with external partners: coordinates with external partners such as outside counsel, vendors, and government agencies
  • Conducting legal research: conducts legal research to support attorneys and legal teams in preparing for cases
  • Drafting legal documents: assists in drafting legal documents such as investment agreements, MoU, contracts, and other diverse sets of agreements
  • Maintaining legal databases: maintains legal databases and ensures they are up-to-date and accurate
  • Providing administrative support: provides administrative support to legal teams, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes of meetings
  • Ensuring compliance: ensures compliance with legal requirements and regulations, including those related to data privacy and security
  • Managing technology: helps managing the technology used in the legal department, including legal software applications and hardware
