Summary
Join Thunderbird Wholesale, a revolutionary force in the mortgage industry, as an Account Executive. In this contract/consultant role, you will spearhead the introduction and sales of our innovative no-documentation loan program to residential mortgage brokers. Your responsibilities include developing and managing broker relationships, proactively reaching out to introduce our product and self-service platform, generating and converting leads, and staying informed on industry trends. You will collaborate with internal teams and maintain accurate client records. This 100% remote position (LATAM) requires significant experience in the residential mortgage industry, specifically with non-QM lending and wholesale sales to brokers. The position offers a USD salary and PTO.
Requirements
- Experience as a Sales professional in the residential mortgage industry (mortgage broker or mortgage lender/banker)
- Experience working for a non-QM, niche, or specialty lender (not a large national bank)
- 10-20 years of experience across 3-5 U.S. residential mortgage companies
- Must have held a sales role, selling in person or over the phone
- Fluent English, with U.S. work and living experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with residential mortgage brokers, driving engagement with our no-documentation loan program
- Proactively reach out to brokers, introduce our product, and demonstrate how to navigate our self-service website
- Generate and convert leads, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to position Thunderbird as a leader in the market
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine sales strategies and improve customer experience
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions using CRM tools
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fix & flip lending, mobile home financing, or other niche mortgage products
- Wholesale business experience, selling to brokers (not retail direct-to-consumer sales)
