Partnership Product Manager

GoDaddy
Summary
Join GoDaddy's team as a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, integration, and growth of its platform within major banking ecosystems. You will be the product lead for a next-generation channel model enabling banks and their merchant networks to seamlessly launch, sell, and scale with GoDaddy's POS and eCommerce platform. This high-impact, high-autonomy role involves building a future where every bank becomes a commerce platform for its customers. You will lead strategic bank partner integrations, own end-to-end partner enablement, define segment-specific commerce strategy, drive API-first integration design, accelerate bank co-sell and merchant activation, and orchestrate cross-functional execution. Data-driven decision-making and iteration are crucial for optimizing the partner experience and improving developer usability and merchant outcomes. This is a remote position, but occasional office visits may be required.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years in POS, payments, or eCommerce platforms β ideally with partner-facing ownership
- Deep understanding of retail, food & beverage, and SMB commerce workflows, including inventory, catalog, payments, fulfillment, and customer engagement
- Proven track record of partner integrations, including direct experience working with banks, ISOs, payment processors, or FinTechs
- Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, OAuth, REST, and integration security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, tokenization, KYC workflows)
- Strong communication and storytelling skills β experience engaging technical teams, partner sales leaders, and C-level customers
Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Bank Partner Integrations: Be responsible for the product strategy and execution for Tier 1 banking and payment processor integrations. Deliver embedded, white-label, or co-branded POS and eCommerce experiences that align with bank partner go-to-market models and drive adoption at scale
- Own End-to-End Partner Enablement Across the Merchant Lifecycle: Define and lead the roadmap for bank-integrated merchant experiences β from initial onboarding through activation, selling, settlement, and support. Ensure workflows are bank-tailored, omnichannel-ready, and scalable across hardware, software, and headless solutions
- Define Segment-Specific Commerce Strategy for Bank Channels: Develop deep expertise in the verticals served by each bank partner (e.g., F&B, personal care, retail). Use these insights to shape tailored solution strategies and collaborate with internal product teams to deliver fit-for-purpose commerce features β across POS, online selling, and additional channels such as marketplaces and mobile apps
- Drive API-First Integration Design for Embedded Commerce: Collaborate with platform and developer experience teams to build composable APIs, SDKs, and reference architectures that support fast, secure, and self-service integrations. Ensure partners can integrate headless commerce solutions in days, not weeks
- Accelerate Bank Co-Sell & Merchant Activation: Enable partner-facing teams (sales, solutions engineers, onboarding) with the tools, demos, docs, and use-case playbooks needed to close and activate merchants. Represent GoDaddyβs product vision in partner-facing conversations and technical planning
- Orchestrate Cross-Functional Execution: Serve as the connective tissue across GoDaddyβs product, payments, hardware, partnerships, marketing, and compliance teams. Drive accountability, unblock dependencies, and establish feedback loops that keep bank solutions on track and evolving
- Use Data to Influence & Iterate: Define key KPIs around bank partner adoption, activation, and merchant retention. Leverage insights and feedback to continuously optimize the partner experience and improve developer usability, merchant outcomes, and platform scalability
