Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of UK-based sales representatives, driving the team to meet and exceed revenue targets within the UK market
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to ensure continuous improvement and success within the sales team
  • Execute and refine the sales strategy for the UK market, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and expanding market share
  • Assist in hiring and scaling the UK sales team as Planful continues to grow its presence in the region
  • Foster a strong sales culture, focusing on collaboration, accountability, and high performance
  • Represent Planful at UK industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to drive business development and brand awareness
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the UK
  • Use data-driven insights to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed sales decisions
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, customer success, etc.) to align on go-to-market strategies and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction
  • Report on sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics to the executive leadership team

About the Role

As we continue to expand our presence in the UK market, Planful is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the Financial Performance Management landscape to join our leadership team as the Regional Vice President of Sales, UK & Ireland.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for the UK region, aligning with Planfulโ€™s global goals and objectives. You will inherit and lead the existing UK-based sales team with the opportunity to scale the team further. Along with proven leadership experience, the ideal candidate will have a ‘builder mentality,’ bringing experience in growing sales teams, developing go-to-market (GTM) plans for single territories, and driving long-term sales success in an expanding region.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Lead and manage a team of UK-based sales representatives, driving the team to meet and exceed revenue targets within the UK market.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to ensure continuous improvement and success within the sales team.
  • Execute and refine the sales strategy for the UK market, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and expanding market share.

Market Expansion & Team Development

  • Assist in hiring and scaling the UK sales team as Planful continues to grow its presence in the region.
  • Foster a strong sales culture, focusing on collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Represent Planful at UK industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to drive business development and brand awareness.

Sales Performance & Customer Engagement
