Remote Senior Accountant

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth, SaaS, or technology environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with month-end close processes
• Proficiency with AP management and ERP/GL systems (e.g., Ramp, Sage, Netsuite)
• Experience with tax filings and compliance
• Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Self-starter mentality, with the potential to grow within the company
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results
• Own all aspects of the AP process, ensuring timely payments and vendor relationships
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring data integrity and financial accuracy
• Assist in leading and coordinating tax filings and compliance initiatives, working closely with external partners and internal stakeholders
• Take ownership of accounting functions and actively seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies
• Partner with the FP&A team to assist in variance analysis, providing insights on financial performance
• Prepare for and support any external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available
