Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience selling custom software engineering solutions to US based Fortune 500 companies
  • Technical background and excellent understanding of software engineering practices and technologies underpinning the Software Development Lifecycle and development of modern and emerging products and services
  • A deep network or existing book of business connections in the U.S. technology market
  • Proven success driving business development for consulting, professional services, or technical staffing
  • Experience managing technical accounts, achieving growth targets, and executing clear business strategies
  • Expertise in opening new accounts and negotiating MSA terms in software-focused verticals
  • Ability to understand and translate clientโ€™s technical requirements into clear objectives for the delivery team
  • Strong relationship-building skills with senior and C-suite executives in complex, multi-functional organizations

Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new leads, identify, qualify, and close business opportunities with Fortune 500 companies, driving significant revenue growth
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations, from senior leaders to C-suite executives, positioning Janea Systems as a trusted partner for their software engineering needs
  • Lead all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial outreach, proposals, and presentations, to negotiations, contract signing, and post-sales account management
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product, and delivery, to ensure that client requirements are met and projects are executed successfully
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to anticipate client needs and maintain a competitive edge
  • Act as a thought leader in the software development and consulting space, representing Janea Systems at industry events and fostering a network of influential contacts

  • Proven track record in creating long-term client partnerships and delivering consultative sales solutions that address client needs
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to align client needs with business objectives
