As a Senior Manager - Account Development, you will identify new business opportunities, manage sales cycles, and collaborate with internal teams to design creative solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development, consulting, sales, or partner/customer management that included external-facing engagement with customers or partners
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and winning opportunities
- Ability to create and present slide decks that emphasize your company's value proposition to potential clients
- Ability to join forces with other large teams outside of your immediate department to create, solve, and delegate complex initiatives
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that will drive growth in Commerce
- Manage the entire sales cycle (including any RFP processes) from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities and consistent achievement of annual targets
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners and stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and present creative solutions that address partner-specific challenges and objectives
- Build a business model and forecast for new deals
- Lead contract negotiations
- Work closely with delivery teams, project managers, and technical experts to ensure seamless transition from sales to partner onboarding and implementation
- Participate in annual planning and forecasting
- Travel to events/conferences to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
