Requirements

  • At least 4 to 6 Years of professional experience in People Operations or Human Resources function
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM or Workday
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify HR solutions that align with business needs and drive organizational effectiveness
  • Partner closely with the people team and cross-functional stakeholders to implement and continuously refine people operational processes and services with a focus on scalability, simplicity, and employee experience
  • Maintain existing people operations process documents and recommend improvements
  • Serve as a consultant and trusted advisor on all HR matters, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
  • Foster positive employee relations by providing guidance, counseling, and support to managers and employees
  • Address employee concerns and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Support all aspects of HR compliance, including regular policy and document reviews, assisting with internal and external audits, and completing annual business surveys and EEO Reporting
  • Assist with policy writing or revisions as needed and ensure the organization’s People policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, and recommended best practices
  • Leverage people technology tools to create automations and efficiencies in day-to-day processes
  • Support and mentor members of the people operations team by sharing best practices and partnering to solve issues as they arise
  • Prepare regular HR reports and metrics to provide meaningful insights to management

  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, talent management, and organizational development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and reliability
  • Proven ability to navigate complex and/or ambiguous systems
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously

The MCG People & Culture team is dedicated to delivering exceptional People & Culture support and fostering a positive work environment for our employees. The Senior People Operations Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining processes that improve employee experience as well as the experience of our People & Culture team.

You Will:

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 4 to 6 Years of professional experience in People Operations or Human Resources function.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM or Workday.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite.
  • Experience managing leave benefits preferred.

This is a remote role with a preference for candidates based in the East Coast. The HQ for MCG Health is based in Seattle, WA.

Pay Range: $80,500 - $112,770

Other compensation: Bonus Eligible
