Remote Strategy and Operations Manager

Summary

Join Whatnot, the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe, as a Strategy and Operations Manager for Ads. You will play a critical role in shaping and scaling foundational Ads products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategy, execution, and optimization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of overall professional experience
• Past experience at a high growth startup, or working at a direct to consumer marketplace
• Ability to operate as a team of 1 and get in the weeds to produce results in a highly ambiguous environment
• Skills in gathering user feedback from buyers and sellers, extracting insights, and courage to advocate for product change
• A learning mindset around complex data and to create programs that inform go-to-market strategy, sales, and product development
• Excellent internal and external communication skills and especially experience in building/ managing partnerships externally

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and optimize performance for our sellers across ad products
• Lead cross-functional projects in partnership with product and engineering teams to scale ads solutions and improve seller and buyer experiences
• Identify inefficiencies and missed opportunities in ads and sales operations to maximize our ability to deliver value to new sellers
• Analyze ads data to provide actionable insights, guiding decisions that impact the overall experience
• Collaborate across the organization in conjunction with product, engineering, and design to help design, evaluate, and scale Ads products, representing seller needs and ensuring smooth execution
• Build and manage key relationships with internal and external partners, sellers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on ads initiatives
• Advocate for Whatnot sellers and represent their voice in determining the engineering roadmap
