Join our team as a Data Engineer to translate business needs into technical requirements, manage logical data models, and work closely with ingestion and curation teams.

Requirements

• Experience in data engineering or data analysis
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Databricks, technical and business data cataloging, logical data modeling, ETL/ELT tools, and data dictionary development
• Proven experience in data management, requirements management, and metadata management

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to define requirements and priorities
• Develop technical requirements based on metrics established by business teams
• Design logical data model and orchestration requirements
• Own and manage logical data model for the Enterprise Analytics team
• Oversee data catalog entries and enforce data cataloging rules
• Manage access controls for end data products
• Manage change requests to the structure, definitions, and/or security of identified data objects
• Communicate with the Business Data System Owner and Business Data Steward on metric updates
• Act as an escalation point for Data Quality Analysts when defined processes are insufficient to resolve issues
