Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a program or project manager in technology initiatives
  • Experience coordinating cross-company teams and different functional areas like Engineering, Product and Operations
  • Strong communication skills. A direct, short, unambiguous and cordial style is preferred
  • Advanced English and Portuguese (written and verbal skills)
  • Iterative and incremental agile project planning expertise. Specially oscillating between high and low level layers. Including deadlines and dependencies

Responsibilities

  • Make straight-to-the-point brief decks and presentations
  • Absorb, condense and communicate project risks and status
  • Work with C-level internal and external from a neutral position
  • Know when to talk and when to withdraw from conversation
  • Set a meeting agenda and avoid topic drifting
  • Expose problems and issues with alternative solutions showing understanding of the root cause
  • Make good use of the team's time leaving time aside for deep focused work for the projects to move forward
  • Ability to separate, differentiate and isolate architecture, business and project decisions
  • High level understanding of SDLC, development, infrastructure, QA and Security
  • Ability to identify and analyze technical requirements or issues when necessary to avoid overload of development teams
  • Confront and resolve technical challenges, configure requirements, or analyze technical issues when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in several business domains, preferred around the Media/Entertainment and/or Software Development industry
