Requirements

  • Higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications or similar
  • Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting UCaaS/CCaaS systems, including VoIP
  • Expertise in VoIP related protocols (SIP, SDP, RTP)
  • Experience with signaling analysis tools (e.g. Wireshark, sngrep, Homer)
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools
  • Ability to multi-task and efficiently manage competing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Observability, Monitoring, Performance or Availability tools or services, preferably in the infrastructure monitoring area

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and resolving issues related to voice quality, connectivity, and other VoIP-related problems
  • Knowledge in the use of SIP Proxy and Registrar (Kamailio) and Media Server (Freeswitch)
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, and support teams
  • Help roll out milestone releases
  • Improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance
  • Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and tracking of the platform
  • Consistently share knowledge about the changes made to the platform with the Support and NOC teams
