Join Ragan Communications as a Reporter and contribute to our mission of providing top-tier professional development and news to communication professionals. This full-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to write original articles, support content programming for conferences and webinars, and contribute to our flagship daily news series. You will interview C-suite executives, collaborate with a supportive team, and attend industry events. The ideal candidate possesses at least five years of reporting experience, including B2B/trade publications, and strong communication and networking skills. • Communication skills with colleagues in a remote environment

• A willingness to experiment and try new things
• A data-driven mindset and experience with Google Analytics
• At least five years of experience as a reporter, including at least two years in B2B/trade publications, or a combination of B2B reporting and PR experience
• Fully remote, but preferably near a major PR hub to better facilitate sourcing
• Travel required about five times a year to attend conferences, awards events and team-building activities
• We are currently unable to employ residents of California

Responsibilities

• Write original, reported articles for PR Daily on a variety of topics that help PR pros do their jobs better every day
• Support content programming of Ragan conferences, webinar and related events through responsibilities including securing speakers, writing agenda sessions and moderating panels
• Participate in live Ragan conferences and other events several times a year
• Contribute to The Daily Scoop, PR Daily’s flagship daily series catching our audience up on the biggest news and what it means for the industry
• Write award profiles for Ragan and PR Daily’s robust slate of benchmarking programs
• Write sponsored content, including white papers, tip sheets and more
• Peer copy editing
• Other duties as assigned
