Requirements

  • Proven experience working with Jira and Confluence, including in-depth knowledge of Jira workflows, dashboards, issue types, custom fields, and automation
  • Strong Jira administration experience, including managing projects, permissions, and user roles
  • Demonstrated ability to configure and customise Jira workflows and dashboards to meet business requirements
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex Jira-related issues and challenges
  • Ability to automate processes and develop automation rules in Jira to improve team efficiency
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for transforming challenges into opportunities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimise Jira workflows tailored to the organisation's processes and needs
  • Create, customise, and maintain Jira dashboards to provide meaningful insights for teams and leadership
  • Develop and maintain automation rules to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve system efficiency
  • Oversee Jira projects, permissions, and user roles, ensuring the tool is configured to support team workflows and business needs
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Jira-related issues, providing solutions and resolving challenges quickly and effectively
  • Continuously assess the current Jira and Confluence setup, making recommendations for improvements and implementing best practices
  • Configure and manage the integration of Jira with Confluence, ensuring seamless collaboration between the two platforms
  • Provide training and support for team members, ensuring users are effectively utilizing Jira and Confluence to their full potential
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and help translate them into Jira and Confluence solutions that drive productivity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in integrating Jira with other tools or systems (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack)
  • Jira certification (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator)
  • Familiarity with advanced Jira add-ons and plugins (e.g. Jira Portfolio, ScriptRunner)
  • Experience in providing training and user support for Jira and Confluence users
