Summary

Join Stream Realty Partners as a Research Analyst and contribute to market research and analysis for the Northern Virginia commercial real estate market. You will conduct research, collect data, and create deliverables such as reports and analyses. Collaborate with brokers, leadership, and the marketing team on projects and pitches. Assist brokerage professionals with market surveys and reports. Present market information at internal sales meetings. This role requires a bachelor's degree, 1-4 years of experience in commercial real estate or market research, and strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite is essential. Experience with data visualization technologies is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • 1-4 years of experience in commercial real estate or other market research role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service
  • Ability to effectively present information
  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions
  • Conducts basic financial analysis
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations
  • Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines
  • Proactive and positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Researches and collects market information and assists in creation of research deliverables such as quarterly reports, white papers, market and submarket analyses, trend analytics, business and economic intelligence
  • Gathers data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants in the market, and new developments, etc
  • Liaises with brokers, leadership, marketing and business development support team on specific pitches and projects
  • May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers on data subscription resources and tools
  • Assist brokerage professionals with market surveys, competitive sets, lease abstracts, and prospect reports, etc
  • Participate in development of local requests for research information for pitch and/or proposal materials
  • Attend, participate in, and present market information at internal sales meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some experience with the below technologies desired: Tableau or other data visualization technology
  • Power BI
  • ArcGIS
  • Argus
