Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in revenue operations, finance, or accounting
  • Experience with revenue recognition principles and practices (e.g., ASC 606)
  • Knowledge of CRM and financial systems (e.g., Hubspot)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who can ‘connect the dots’ in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous environment and a proactive problem solver
  • Analytically driven, with the ability to problem solve using data and develop solutions with a clear-eyed and impartial focus on efficiency
  • Able to effectively prioritise tasks that focus on the customer and their journey
  • Strong listening and persuasion skills and ability to partner the team members and stakeholders to align cross-functional groups to improve the revenue stack continuously

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and validating revenue data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy
  • Developing and maintaining revenue forecasting models to support budgeting and planning processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline revenue-related processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies and procedures
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of revenue optimization strategies
  • Generating and analyzing reports on key revenue metrics, such as churn rate, customer lifetime value, and average revenue per user
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify potential revenue growth opportunities
  • Partner with sales leadership to drive sales efficiency by delivering data-driven insights and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS offerings and product-led growth companies
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to work individually as well as collaboratively
