Summary

Cision is hiring an Account Manager to manage customer relationships from a mid-market brand, revenue, product, and renewal perspective. The role involves retaining 100% of revenue across various renewals and products and growing business through cross-selling and up-selling. The Account Manager will serve as the focal point for client contact and manage resources to ensure clients are well serviced and take advantage of all appropriate products/solutions.

Requirements

• Ability to sell value at all levels over the phone
• Experience selling On-Demand, SaaS solution or subscription-based product to a diverse customer base
• Proven track record of growing business from an established client base
• Strong time management skills
• Consistent and documented track record for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual target metrics
• 1-2 years of sales experience focused on growing existing business or new business
• Large account management or project management experience
• Proven track record for closing large and mid-size companies

Responsibilities

• Retain 100% of revenue across various renewals and products
• Manage resources to ensure clients are well serviced and take advantage of all appropriate products/solutions
• Grow business through cross-selling and up-selling

Preferred Qualifications

• Communications, public relations or journalism background
• Ability to adapt, overcome objections, and learn complex solutions
• Experience selling in the PR vertical
