Lead the B2B and B2C sales team, driving exponential growth by increasing tenant bookings and revenue. Develop and implement sales strategies, train the team, and ensure a fantastic customer experience. You will analyze key performance indicators, negotiate contracts, and build partnerships to maximize revenue. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of B2B or B2C sales experience, business-level English and Japanese, and experience with CRM software. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a B2B or B2C sales environment
  • Business Level English and Japanese
  • College or University degree in any field
  • Experience using CRM software e.g. Salesforce/Hubspot etc
  • Some line management experience
  • Excellent communicator
  • Able to quickly build rapport with customers
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • High drive for results
  • Customer empathy and focus

Responsibilities

  • Own the Cove Japan sales strategy and approach
  • Regular sales training and development initiatives
  • Ensuring fast launch and ramp up of new buildings/properties
  • Working with the supply side team to provide customer insights to support growth of the portfolio
  • Analysis of funnel health and key performance indicators to generate insights for continuous improvements and optimizations
  • Ensuring fantastic customer experience throughout the sales process
  • Closely involved in pricing of new rooms and regular re-pricing of existing portfolio
  • Contract negotiations and renegotiations with tenants
  • Implementation of rental price increases as required
  • Leadership of discounts policies to maximize revenue potential
  • Building relationships and partnerships with property agents and other partners as a source of demand
  • Leading the growth of the B2B channel to source leads from corporate bookings and partnerships with companies, institutions, and higher education
  • Ownership of all sales processes, SOPs, and tech tools to ensure the efficiency and maximum effectiveness of the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a pre-Series C start-up
  • Experience in sales process design
  • Experience in sales training
