Summary
Join Glossier as a Sales Consultant to expand our brand presence in non-traditional retail and corporate gifting channels. Identify, pitch, and secure new opportunities for Glossier products in independent boutiques, spas, and corporate gifting programs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Glossier’s brand positioning and a strong personal network of potential retail partners. This role requires managing outreach, relationship development, and ongoing partner engagement. You will build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities using a self-managed sales process and report on progress to senior leadership. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all placements reflect Glossier’s aesthetics, values, and high standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or CPG
- Pre-existing relationships with boutique retail buyers, spa managers, and corporate gifting decision-makers
- Strong understanding of brand positioning, particularly in the premium/lifestyle space
- Self-starter who thrives in independent, minimally managed roles
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work a fixed term (6 months) with the opportunity to extend
Responsibilities
- Identify new independent retail sellers including boutiques, spas, and wellness destinations that align with the Glossier brand, values and aesthetic
- Pitch and successfully place Glossier products into new retail environments, emphasizing brand fit, visibility, and product value
- Identify and secure corporate gifting opportunities with companies, brands and agencies that reflect Glossier’s values and audience
- Manage outreach, relationship development, and ongoing partner engagement
- Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities using a self-managed sales process
- Regularly engage with senior leadership and report on progress, wins, feedback and insights in a structured, concise format
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all placements reflect Glossier’s aesthetics, values, and high standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CRM tools or sales tracking systems is a plus
