Sales Development Internship

Summary

Join Capital Group as a SLATE Summer Associate and develop knowledge on the finance industry, Capital Group service models, American Funds products, and exercise presentation and consultative skills. This role can lead to a full-time offer as a SLATE Associate based in San Antonio, TX or Carmel, IN.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an anticipated Spring 2026 graduation date
• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong interest in a financial sales career
• Demonstrate strong relationship building and collaboration skills
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Exhibit a passion for continuous learning

Responsibilities

• Gain a deeper understanding of broker-dealer firms, American Funds products, and the investment industry through engaging with associates and senior leaders within various sales and support roles
• Observe calls with Financial Advisors to better understand the Capital brand and relationships
• Learn and develop sales and presentation skills through training and experiential learning culminating in an end of summer presentation
• Lead project work needed to accomplish business goals applying technology and continuous improvement methodologies
• Participate in a variety of responsibilities and assigned projects based on business need
