Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Exceptional coaching and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools. We use Salesforce and Outreach
  • Results-oriented with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets

Responsibilities

  • Lead, empower, and develop a team of business development and sales development representatives to achieve individual and team targets
  • Monitor and evaluate the team's performance, providing feedback, coaching, and training as needed
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new co-op, contract, and full-time team members
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing leadership team to develop and implement effective outreach strategies to drive pipeline growth
  • Continuously refine and optimize team tools and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Track and report key sales metrics, such as SQLs, conversion rates, call activity, and pipeline projections
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on performance and strategy for senior management
  • To make informed decisions, stay current with market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment in achieving company goals
