Sales Development Manager

Join Smartsheet as a Manager, Sales Development (Remote Eligible) and provide daily coaching and leadership to a team of SDRs focused on inbound sales inquiries. This high-profile role reports to the Director, Sales Development and involves supporting SDRs through lead engagement and qualification, managing team schedules, and actively coaching through call reviews and feedback. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of SaaS sales experience, 1+ year of sales management experience, and a passion for coaching and mentoring. Requirements

• 2+ years sales experience in SaaS
• 1+ years sales management experience
• Passion for coaching and mentoring emerging sales talent
• Experience giving both positive and constructive feedback
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
• Capability to understand customer pain points and requirements, capacity to respond with value of Smartsheet products and services

Responsibilities

• Support SDRs through stages of lead engagement and qualification
• Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of Smartsheet’s complete capabilities
• Manage day-to-day schedules of the team
• Be an active coach through call reviews and feedback sessions
• Motivate individuals to succeed through impassioned leadership, coaching, creative incentives, and celebration of results
• Develop incentive plans and SPIFFs to foster an environment that values competition and collaboration
• Guide program and participant success; invest in the success of the team and mentor a team early in their sales career
