Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, or Inside Sales role, with at least 2 years managing SDR teams
- Proven track record of leading SDR teams to consistently meet or exceed pipeline-building and meeting-setting targets
- Deep understanding of outbound prospecting strategies, tools, and workflows in SaaS or healthcare markets
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for coaching and inspiring teams
- Proficiency with sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), and lead generation tools
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improve performance
- A passion for healthcare innovation and the ability to articulate the value of AI solutions to diverse audiences
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing SDR team, managing 5+ SDRs initially, with plans for growth
- Develop and execute effective outbound strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives and target metrics
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly activity benchmarks for the team, including outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn engagement
- Track and analyze SDR performance metrics (e.g., outreach volume, conversion rates, meetings booked) to identify areas for improvement
- Coach and mentor team members, providing ongoing training on messaging, objection handling, and prospecting techniques
- Partner with Marketing and Sales leaders to define ideal customer profiles (ICPs), refine messaging, and optimize lead generation workflows
- Oversee CRM and sales engagement tools to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency
- Serve as a strategic resource for the SDR team, offering guidance on navigating complex prospects and large healthcare organizations
- Act as a liaison between SDRs and other departments, ensuring a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities to Sales Executives
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with healthcare workflows and/or AI technologies is a strong advantage
