Join Automattic for Agencies, a division of Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, WooCommerce, and other popular online platforms, as a Sales Development Rep (SDR). This role focuses on generating leads for agencies and developers interested in using Automattic's tools and services to build successful WordPress websites and online experiences. You will be responsible for outbound campaigns, including email, cold-calling, and social media outreach, to introduce the Automattic for Agencies program to potential clients. Responsibilities
- Generate quality agency leads through outbound campaigns, including email, cold-calling, and social media outreach, introducing the Automattic for Agencies program
- Ensure a smooth handoff to the other members of the sales team by providing detailed background information and context on each opportunity
- Maintain records of interactions with leads in our CRM system to ensure accurate tracking
- Report on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and overall progress toward goals
- Collaborate with the sales and leadership teams to align on goals, share feedback from prospects, and refine the outbound process
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity targets, such as the number of calls made, emails sent, and meetings booked
