Summary
Join AWP Safety, North America’s leading traffic control specialist, as a Sales Development Representative. You will identify and generate sales opportunities through inbound and outbound activities, focusing on engaging and qualifying prospective customers. This role is a key first touchpoint, setting the tone for the sales cycle and managing the overall customer experience. Daily responsibilities include conducting 50+ warm calls and consistent email outreach. You will follow up on inbound leads, maintain accurate CRM information, collaborate with the operations team, and handle customer escalations. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience with CRM systems, and a proven track record in sales and relationship building.
Requirements
- A quick learner with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills who can easily assimilate multiple technologies and skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels across the company and the client’s organizational structure
- Experience with identifying, understanding, and analyzing a prospect’s needs in order to gather detailed information
- Proven background in organizing high priority items and working with a team to ensure operational success
- Proven track record for articulating a product/service and relationship building
Responsibilities
- Conduct hunter-focused prospecting daily , including (but not limited to) 50+ warm calls per day as well as consistent email outreach to both current and net-new accounts
- Follow up on in-bound leads and identify qualified opportunities , providing appropriate levels of information, at the right time, for interested prospects
- Ensure successful follow-through of sales cycle activities by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in AWP’s CRM
- Work with AWP Operations team to ensure successful scheduling, billing, and follow up of work
- Handle customer escalation issues and work with both operations and the account manager to solve them in a timely manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or Higher in Sales or Business-related field preferred
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics & Excel preferred
