Sales Development Representative

Summary
Join ButterflyMX as a Business Development Representative and be the face of our sales process, setting meetings and scheduling calls to drive deals. This role is a stepping stone to a closing role on the sales team for successful candidates. You will manage outbound and inbound leads, identify key decision-makers, qualify buying interest, and build relationships with potential and existing clients. The position requires strong communication skills, accountability, collaboration, and the ability to work efficiently. Requirements
- 1 year of relevant work experience in a sales or customer-facing customer success/support, or account management
- Bachelor's degree required
- Demonstrate a high level of accountability for both your work and the work of your team
- Enjoy collaborating with people to get work done, but know when to take ownership of a task
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required
- Work fast but thoughtfully, and make suggestions for efficiencies along the way
Responsibilities
- Build revenue pipeline by setting introductory meetings with target influencers and key decision-makers
- Research and build new and existing accounts via adding contacts, outbound calling efforts (70+ cold calls/day), and sending strategic email
- Call and make initial contact with prospects; determine or enhance prospectβs level of interest in ButterflyMX
- Qualify and nurture leads through well planned and executed cadences
- Work closely with the sales territory teams to drive the demand generation activities, to prioritize and follow through with the leads, and build consistent, relevant pipeline
- Answer calls and respond to all inbound sales inquiries from prospective clients
- Meet all sales and performance objectives including daily activity target, monthly meeting, and sales qualified leads quota
- Prioritize competing day-to-day activities to ensure that all management objectives are met
- Manage and track leads using CRM systems while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
