Summary
Join ConnectWise, a leading software company, as a Sales Development Representative supporting the sales team. Generate new business opportunities by qualifying leads and prospecting through existing accounts to engage potential partners. Partner with the sales team to initiate the sales process. Responsibilities include outbound calling, utilizing industry insights and ConnectWise value propositions to generate leads, uncovering business needs through a consultative approach, and driving sales growth by setting up qualified meetings. The role requires excellent customer service, strong teamwork, and knowledge of the IT or related markets. A Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of relevant experience are required.
Requirements
- Ability to perform routine situations and procedures with limited supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong team player with ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the ConnectWise organization
- Multi-task working in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
- Organized, self-motivated, eager
- Knowledge of the IT, Professional Services, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) markets
- Demonstrate exceptional positioning and qualification skills, with proven evidence of reaching sales objectives
- Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelorβs degree required in related field or equivalent business experience
- 1+ years of experience in relevant field
Responsibilities
- Provides support to the sales team, with a high attention to detail
- May assist in training and/or leading new team colleagues
- Heavy emphasis on outbound, proactive calling to cultivate business (50+ calls per day)
- Uses industry insights and ConnectWise value propositions to generate business leads via cold call, email, and social strategies
- Uses multi persona and muti touchpoint prospecting
- Uncovers business needs through a consultative approach to learn more about company objectives, pain points, processes, and opportunities for improvement
- Drives sales growth and pipeline by setting up qualified meetings
- Identifies the appropriate opportunity for the correct solution, stays up to date on new software and products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Managed Services, Outbound Business, Sales Development, or Account Management
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, or Zoominfo
Benefits
