Join Entersekt's dynamic Marketing team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and play a crucial role in our growth. Identify, nurture, and qualify target accounts within the B2B Fintech space. Proactively engage with prospects, understand their business needs, and qualify their fit for our innovative solutions. This role involves outbound communication, lead qualification, CRM management, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams. You will be responsible for delivering on pipeline targets and contributing to the refinement of sales development processes. The ideal candidate is a driven salesperson with strong demand generation experience and a results-oriented mindset.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a business development, sales development, or similar role, preferably within the B2B SaaS or FinTech industry
  • Proven track record of successfully generating and qualifying leads
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify relevant prospects and understand their business challenges
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (specify CRM if applicable) and other sales and marketing tools
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation
  • Identify and research target accounts and key decision-makers within the B2B Fintech space
  • Develop a deep understanding of our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas specific to our solutions and target accounts
  • Stay informed about Fintech industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to engage potential leads and relevant talking points
  • Outreach & Engagement
  • Initiate outbound communication through a multi-channel approach including cold calling, personalized email campaigns, and social selling
  • Craft compelling, concise, and tailored messaging that addresses the specific pain points, needs, and opportunities of prospects
  • Persistently follow up with prospects in a timely and professional manner to nurture interest, overcome initial objections, and build rapport
  • Clearly articulate our company's value proposition and how our SaaS solutions solve specific challenges or create opportunities for financial institutions/Fintech companies
  • Qualification & Opportunity Development
  • Effectively qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined qualification criteria (MEDDIC) to ensure they are genuine sales opportunities
  • Conduct high-level discovery calls to understand prospect needs, current processes, business objectives, and decision-making structures
  • Secure qualified introductory meetings, product demonstrations, or discovery calls for the commercial team
  • Transition qualified leads to sales with comprehensive notes and context to ensure a seamless handover
  • CRM & Process Management
  • Meticulously log all activities, lead information, communications, and qualifying notes in the CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot) ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date pipeline of prospects and leads
  • Track and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, email open/response rates, meetings booked, and conversion rates
  • Adhere to and contribute to the refinement of sales development processes and best practices
  • Provide feedback to sales and marketing teams on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and market intelligence gathered from prospect interactions
  • Learning & Collaboration
  • Proactively develop in-depth knowledge of our products, solutions features, benefits, and competitive differentiators
  • Actively participate in sales training, coaching sessions, team meetings, and product update briefings
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and commercial teams to refine targeting strategies, messaging, and lead qualification criteria
  • Work with the marketing team to understand campaigns, provide feedback, and leverage marketing-generated content effectively
  • Stay updated on best practices in sales development, B2B sales techniques, and the evolving Fintech ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with the FinTech landscape and financial services industry is a plus
