Summary

Join FastSpring, a leading ecommerce platform, as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and contribute to driving sales growth. You will proactively generate leads through various outbound strategies, including cold calling, emailing, and social outreach. Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule meetings and hand off qualified leads. Utilize Salesforce to track progress and manage the sales pipeline. This remote position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with some travel expected for events. The role offers an annual on-target earnings (OTE) of €64,300, comprising a base salary and a variable sales component.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of quota-carrying lead generation experience in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Confident communicator. Strong written and verbal skills are critical
  • Ability to focus on results while working independently
  • Self-starter, capable of organizing tasks and staying focused in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills: capable of accurately assessing needs, maintaining a calm, focused business demeanor, and taking quick action to resolve issues
  • Possess an interest in payments, gaming, eCommerce software, and/or other web/internet applications
  • Interest in working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment in a rapidly expanding and changing market

Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate awareness and interest in FastSpring’s platform across global markets, particularly in industries like SaaS, software, gaming, and digital products
  • Execute creative outbound prospecting strategies with a disciplined approach, including: cold calls, personalized email outreach, video messages, and social channels to build a steady pipeline of qualified leads
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to schedule and hand off high-quality meetings that align with target customer profiles and strategic priorities
  • Use Salesforce daily to log activity, track progress, manage pipeline stages, and maintain accurate and organized prospect data
  • Apply strong communication and influencing skills to navigate early conversations, identify buying signals, and uncover customer pain points
  • Actively seek feedback, test new approaches, and continuously refine your prospecting techniques to improve results
  • Represent FastSpring at virtual and in-person events to expand awareness and build relationships in key regions

Benefits

  • This role carries an annual on-target earnings (OTE) of €64,300, comprised of a base salary of €45,000 and a variable sales component of €19,300 (70/30 split)
  • This position is remote, with some travel expected for tradeshows, in-person team onsites and events
