Join Group Black as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and play a key role in generating new business opportunities. Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a sales or business development role (media or advertising industry a plus)
  • A passion for prospecting and the hustle it takes to identify and engage potential clients
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and in presentations
  • CRM experience (Boostr preferred but not required)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable operating independently while being a collaborative team player
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on setting and achieving measurable goals
  • Commitment to the mission, vision, and objectives of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting new clients using sourced lists from the sales team, Mediaradar, Sellercrowd, and/or your personal network
  • Crafting and sending outreach emails in collaboration with the marketing team and sales leadership—or writing your own compelling messages
  • Scheduling and conducting 5–10 discovery calls per week with potential clients to understand their business needs and deliver a tailored GB Pitch (general, verticalized, or client-specific)
  • Qualifying leads and passing them to the appropriate sales pod, ensuring they’re armed with detailed notes on client needs, decision-makers, and relevant product interests
  • Keeping CRM data clean and accurate by logging new client interactions, calls, discovery details, and qualified contact information in Boostr
  • Taking ownership as the SDR lead on your accounts in Boostr
  • Meeting weekly with the Sales Team to review prospecting plans, avoid overlap, and align on client outreach support
  • Driving toward the ultimate goal: securing deep dive meetings and in-person revenue-generating conversations for the sales team

  • The monthly base salary band for this opportunity is $4,500 - $5,400
