- Drive results through prospecting, generating and qualifying leads, and working those leads throughout the lifecycle of the opportunity
- Develop a pipeline of opportunities and achieve quarterly and annual business goals
- Receive and process sales inquiries, sales orders, and claims via phone, fax, or email promptly
- Manage own set of leads, handling the process from start to finish, following up on all inquiries, determining viability based on sales criteria
- Facilitate customer meetings to review current open orders and old contracts as well as upsell current clients to gain new revenue streams
- Accurately and expediently respond to technical questions from clients
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Division requirements through research meetings and engagements with customers, vendors and business partners
- Promote and deliver presentations (in person or by phone/web) for current and potential customers and business partners. Engage with customers to explore their situations and needs
- Utilize the database to track commercial projects that may be sold or moved to market for further marketing development opportunities
- Conduct research on trends in the medical device and medical device technology industry by analyzing customer and industry potential and predicting aggressive, but attainable, goals
- Provide regular updates on sales goals and activities and analysis of marketing strategies, sales activities, and customer engagement
- Actively participate in management meetings to discuss continual process improvements, quality management, problem resolution, current and future opportunities
- Proactively bring issues to the table and surface ideas for discussion and implementation. Assist in the formulation of sales approaches and promotional activities
- Attend company annual sales events and trade shows. Work with marketing and event planning to build on ideas that make the greatest impact at these events
