Summary

Join Nearmap as a Sales Development Representative in this hybrid remote role (3 days a week in office). You will be responsible for initiating new sales opportunities, generating interest, and qualifying leads by showcasing the efficiency of aerial imaging. This role requires identifying key decision-makers, mapping stakeholders, and utilizing various prospecting techniques. Success is measured by scheduling quality meetings and generating significant annual contract value. You will manage leads in Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy for performance analysis. Compliance with Nearmap's values and policies is essential.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years prior lead generation / business development / inside sales / account management
  • Successful quota or KPI/KSO attainment with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Experience hunting and prospecting new business opportunities
  • Previous experience making high volume outbound calls
  • Sales experience in SaaS- renewals or subscription sales model, experience using Salesforce
  • Sound business acumen and previous experience accurately forecasting and reporting on territory /account activity
  • Ability to work independently and also in a structured, disciplined sales environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
  • Positive and energetic
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Qualify Leads
  • Proficient in identifying key decision makers in prospect organizations to find additional sales opportunities
  • Map key stakeholders, technical requirements and business process on all deals
  • High volume prospecting of new business opportunities utilizing cold calling, digital and online prospecting techniques, including Account Based Marketing tactics
  • Demonstrate results in solutions-based selling process and handling common objections with ease
  • Drive additional revenue opportunities by applying incremental programs or projects initiated by sales management
  • Set appointments for qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representative for closing
  • Metrics of success: schedule at least 20 quality meetings for the sales team per month and generate $25,000 in additional ACV (Annual Contract Value) per quarter
  • Manage Database
  • Manage a database of leads in Salesforce
  • Ensure critical data points are enriched for analysis of mid-market and strategic account management performance (annual revenue, total employees, SIC code and description)
  • Efficiently process all opportunities, tracking, reporting and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline
  • Compliance with Nearmap Values, Policies and Standards
  • Adheres to company guidelines and the corporate Code of Conduct
  • Acts in an ethical way when dealing with company assets and other people
