Summary
Join Tailscale's Sales Development Representative team and build qualified pipelines for our sales organization. Become an expert in how Tailscale assists customers, identify and engage prospects with tailored messaging, and generate meetings using a multi-channel approach. Coordinate meetings for Account Executives, manage activities across numerous accounts, and staff conferences to acquire leads. This role requires aptitude for delivering exceptional customer experiences, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Location must be Vancouver or Denver, with team coworking three days a week. The position offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary, equity, and variable commission.
Requirements
- Aptitude for delivering world-class customer experiences: operate with a sense of urgency, exercise curiosity about customers, and strive to add value in your interactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage many activities and tasks simultaneously
- Ability to travel to industry events once a quarter
- Must be local to Vancouver or Denver
Responsibilities
- Become an expert in how Tailscale helps our customers
- Identify & engage prospective customers with tailored messaging that resonates with their interests, pain points, and business problems
- Do whatever it takes to generate meetings, using a multi-channel approach
- Coordinate meetings for Account Executives
- Manage and organize your activities and tasks across thousands of accounts
- Staff conferences and industry events to acquire leads and new prospective customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Have a technical background e.g. STEM degree or coding bootcamp
- Have experience using Outreach, Gong, or Salesforce
