Summary

Join Valimail, a fast-growing leader in Email Authentication as a Service, as an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR). You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, generating sales pipeline through outbound prospecting. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying potential clients, engaging decision-makers, scheduling meetings for Account Executives, maintaining Salesforce records, collaborating with Marketing and Sales, staying updated on industry trends, and consistently meeting sales goals. This role requires 1+ years of SDR/BDR experience (preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or tech) and a proven track record of exceeding KPIs. Excellent communication, cold outreach, and organizational skills are essential. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an SDR or BDR role (preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or tech)
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and overcoming objections
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn and grow

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.) to identify and engage potential customers
  • Qualify prospects to ensure a strong fit with Valimail’s solutions
  • Book discovery meetings and demos for Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Salesforce
  • Work in collaboration with Marketing and Sales to execute targeted campaigns and account-based strategies
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly/monthly activity and pipeline generation goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo is a plus
  • Knowledge of email security, authentication (DMARC, SPF, DKIM), or the cybersecurity landscape
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced growth environment
  • Familiarity with account-based selling strategies

  • The anticipated pay range for this role is $50,0000 - $55,000 and will also include variable compensation between $20,000 - $25,000
