Summary

Join Heron Finance, a fintech company backed by prominent investors, as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). In this role, you will be responsible for researching and identifying potential clients, reaching out to prospects through various channels, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings. You will also collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance outreach strategies and gain hands-on experience in fintech sales. While prior experience is not mandatory, a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn are essential. The position is full-time, preferably located in the Bay Area, but remote work is possible for the right candidate. Requirements

  • 2+ Years of relevant fintech or financial products sales experience
  • Series 7 License Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and a desire to learn
  • Comfortable reaching out to new people and starting conversations
  • Organized and reliable with good time management
  • Interest in startups, technology, and/or financial services
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential small RIA clients
  • Reach out to prospects via email, phone, and LinkedIn to introduce Heron
  • Qualify leads and set up meetings for the Business Development Manager
  • Learn how to use tools like our CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and more
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to improve outreach strategy
  • Gain hands-on experience in sales while learning about fintech

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or work experience in sales, customer service, or marketing
  • Familiarity with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Interest in fintech, small business lending, or SaaS
